Our Mission

Road 2 Hope Maternity Homes provide housing, help, and hope to pregnant mothers in crisis.

Our Values

Road 2 Hope provides stable, secure and nurturing care for young women ages 18 and up and their infants. We are honored to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ while we serve young women regardless of their faith background. We model and teach grace, love, respect, honesty, and nurturing. Every young woman in our community receives comprehensive services to help her prepare for the birth of her baby and plan for parenting or adoption. Basic components of our program are:

  • Access to Prenatal Care: Clients are assisted in establishing a relationship with an OB/GYN or midwife and keep routine medical appointments.

  • Education: Clients are encouraged to complete their high school diploma or earn their GED through community-based educational programs.

  • Employment: Clients who have earned their diploma or GED are required to work or volunteer a minimum of 30 hours per week to gain job skills and develop financial resources.

  • Budgeting: Clients must save 50% of income during their time at Road to Hope.

  • Childbirth Preparation: Clients have the option to develop a relationship with a Doula who helps them prepare emotionally and physically for the birth of their child and offers support before, during, and after delivery.

  • Individual Counseling: Clients meet weekly with a counselor who provides emotional support and encouragement in strengthening personal relationships, developing decision-making skills, and healing from past trauma.

  • Advocacy & Case Management: Clients meet weekly with the housemom who provides emotional support, support in setting and achieving personal goals, and addressing barriers to their success and connections to community resources.

  • Parenting Skills: New mothers are offered intensive support and skill building opportunities during early months of mother/baby bonding.

  • Skills Training: Clients participate in budgeting, nutrition, meal planning and preparation, and infant and child developmental education.

  • Spiritual Guidance: Clients are invited to participate in morning and evening devotions, attend weekly worships services, and weekly Bible studies.

Women enter the main maternity home at any point during their pregnancy and may stay up to a year after their baby is born. Afterwards they have the opportunity to apply to stay in one of our HopeForward graduate houses for an additional year to two years. We offer an ongoing aftercare program to support women as they move out of the Road 2 Hope houses and on to the next season of their life.
