Housing and Basic Needs

We offer transitional housing in a safe and stable residential facility. Beyond a roof overhead our program gives the mothers and children we serve their base necessities.

Life Skills and Training

New mothers are offered intensive support and skill building opportunities during pregnancy and early months of mother/baby bonding. Clients participate in life skills classes including but not limited to budgeting, mending the soul, healthy boundaries, nutrition, meal planning & preparation, as well as infant & child developmental education.

Case Management and Advocacy

Clients meet weekly with the House Mom who provides emotional support, advocacy in setting and achieving personalized goals, and addressing barriers to their success. We provide the connections to needed community resources and walk alongside our mothers on their Road to Hope.

Family Reunification

Working collaboratively with parents and DHS, Road to Hope creates an environment that embodies family-centered practices and we work alongside DHS as advocates for the mother’s we serve to facilitate the child’s return home, often quicker than if parents were on their own. We engage with parents in the planning process to help ensure they receive the services, parenting skills, and support required for the child's safe return.

Adoption Education and Support

We support our mothers whether they choose to parent or adopt. When a birthmother chooses adoption we provide needed resources and support throughout the process.
