Our Mission Statement: Road to Hope exists to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of pregnant young women and their children by providing a safe nurturing community.
Road to Hope is a maternity home that exists to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of pregnant women in crisis. They serve expecting unsupported pregnant mothers, 18 & up, in need of safe, stable, secure, and nurturing care.
In their nearly 20 years of mission and ministry, Road to Hope has typically operated with a husband and wife houseparent model, but in recent years strayed from this foundation as they were awaiting a couple that would fit the bill. They are happy to announce that January 1 st their houseparent’s, Frank and Alayna Garcia, celebrated their one year anniversary in this pivotal role. This dynamic fosters a nurturing family environment for the mothers they serve to heal, learn, and grow.
Now as 2019 begins this amazing ministry, transforming 2 lives at a time, looks eagerly towards spring as they plan their March 16th Gala, 20 Years of Hope, at the Adrianna Hill Grand Ballroom in Portland. This event is to celebrate their ministries 20th year Anniversary. The anniversary marks their acceptance of the first client the maternity home ever served.
